Jan, she is remembered by me. Though I did not know her, I remember how she IS loved by my friends. A colleague recently became a victim of a traffic accident. I saw that kind of love from others around me again. My thoughts are with you and Tony!
I have never met you Jan, but my husband Jay and I met Tony at the GA in DC last summer before we were commissioned by CBF as field personnel to India where we currently serve.
I have been touched over the years by the story of Bethany's life through friends at the Seminary I attended, Campbell University Divinity School- which is how I found your blog - I was looking at the CUDS website (feeling a bit homesick I must admit)saw the wonderful new graphics and started going through all the new information. I saw Tony's blog...went there...and then was immediately drawn to the title of your blog :-) I love it!
Years never replace the sensitivity that comes with anniversary dates - I understand that also. So I just wanted you to know that someone else recognizes (even 10,000 miles away) the importance of remembering your beautiful Bethany.
